It's not just rioters that have that philosophy.It's scary that there is a disconnect between "rich" small business owners and massive conglomerates where the real money is.
Customers routinely string out payments to my contracting business (and those of my friends) due to their assumption that owning a business somehow means you have no financial liabilities of your own to answer to.
I've had doctors/lawyers/finance twats refuse to pay their bills when they deem our hourly rates too high after the work is done. (we don't bill by the hour, everything is priced by the job before work begins and is guaranteed to come in on budget). Apparently my son's aren't worthy of a quality education or health insurance.
A mechanic's lien usually sorts that out pretty quick though.
