When you gettin those??? You can't share the good news with us???dh girlie said:I'VE already got one...now I'm gittin da hubs!!! !!!
Despite my tough image, I AM a girlie girl...I got my ck pink headset 2 or 3 years ago at Interbike when the did the 50 'one off color' headsets for the show. I've been waiting and waiting for the hubs...did you get JUST the headset through CK or whatever? I want JUST the hubs, and not the headset since I already have it....manhattanprjkt83 said:dh girlie is too girlie with all this pink flying around
What's wrong with that?Arsbars said:Yeh the only reason I didn't get them is a DOLLAR goes to support cancer research..
Isn't that the truth.HRDTLBRO said:Your avatar is fine, just like that headset.
I'm not sure I get your point? Are you saying that CK should donate more than one DOLLAR to breast cancer research?Arsbars said:Yeh the only reason I didn't get them is a DOLLAR goes to support cancer research..
yes they are hot.. i'll say that.
pnj said:yes. they should give more money to cancer....
if I paid 100 bucks for some part, the last thing I would want on it is some name....
that is one of my big complaints about mtn. bikes. they all have HORRIBLE graphics and they are under the clear coat.
You donated more money to cancer??? What are you talking about???dh girlie said:Thats why you gotta do what I did...I don't need to post anymore pics, though.
I went into the shop i used to work at over thanksgiving break, and they had it sitting there, from what i understand you have to buy the headset and hubs as a package deal, its just that the headsets shipped first, hubs should be in about a month or so...dh girlie said:Despite my tough image, I AM a girlie girl...I got my ck pink headset 2 or 3 years ago at Interbike when the did the 50 'one off color' headsets for the show. Yes they should, $1 is kinda a slap in the face, especially when you think how many they are actually going to move, and thats the headset/hubset combo, not just a headset alone. I know CK is a smaller company, but they should donate at least 50% of the set at a minimun, so what if they loose $ on it. It's a tax break and its for a worthy cause.MMcG said:I'm not sure I get your point? Are you saying that CK should donate more than one DOLLAR to breast cancer research?
Actually my wife donates quite a bit to different charity's. She also is in charge of a Breast Cancer car she designed for Chevron corporation, as her mother had a double mastectomy and also donated art work towards the cause. He's an artical where they interviewed my wife Julie.narlus said:50% at a minimum? yr pretty free w/ other people's money and businesses. how much $ did you donate to breast cancer research (or charity of choice)?
I asked Julie what she thought and she said that was kinda low for what they were donating, don't get me wrong every little bit helps the cause, but $1, if you're going to make the effort, then make the effort, even if it means losing some $ on their side. Like I said its a tax right off anyway.narlus said:that's cool. i didn't know yr last name was goldstone.
at first i mis-read the article and thought that chevron was actually making a car. like a real, driveable car.
but you would look good behind the wheel of this:

My bad its every headset, but still its only $1, if anything they should just eat the profit from what they sell it to their dealers for.the Inbred said:so it's only $1 from the set, hubs and headset? wow. i thought you could buy them seperately, and $1 would've been from each purchase. i've said it before, it's good that they're donating, but $1 from $400 hubs + $100 headset is weak.
we, TX4000, raised $198,000.
meh - I thought it was #1 and HCM was the middle name.ViolentVolante said:ya i was just assuming it was HCM until i met him
no no its 130 dollars for the headset, i have looked around and thats what i found. hehe.the Inbred said:so it's only $1 from the set, hubs and headset? wow. i thought you could buy them seperately, and $1 would've been from each purchase. i've said it before, it's good that they're donating, but $1 from $400 hubs + $100 headset is weak.
