Does anyone make a hub with a huge rear thru axle? I don't want end caps on a 12mm axle. I just want the biggest axle on a quality 150+ spaced hub.

I'm not putting it on a frame I just want to look at it. So, what is the biggest thru axel I can get on a good quality 150+ spaced hub? And where can I buy it?

Actually I'm gonna be building a frame.

thay make up too 20mm rear axles. both hadely and razorrock make 20mm rear hubs.
Razor Rock = UnAvailable

Hadley doesnt make a 20mm as far as I know.... Hence why everyone with 20mm DH9's run 15mm hadleys with reducers??

Where can I buy these alleged 15mm Hadley hubs? Is there a good online shop to get them from or must I go to every bike shop in town to have them say no?

oh come on now, anyone can build a piece of junk based on what other frames "look like" and some high school welding class experience.
I'm not welding it I'm using wheatpaste and bamboo tubes. It's the wave of the future.

any bike shop can order them but if you want someone who knows their stuff then call go-ride, they probably have it in stock.

Any hadley is convertable. If you can find one used, you can get new end caps.
15mm is about the practical limit. 20mm where made but it just barely fits thru a cassette.

Don't listen to the pundits regarding making your own frame. If you have access to quality tools, it's easier than most people think.
