I'm trying to figure out some cranks for the fixie and really want to run DXR cranks from shimano, the chianline lines up alright but I need to find a chainring that will work. All I can find are 3/32 set ups and I need 1/8. I'm thinking about running a 34-13 because it's close to what i'm running now and I figured if such a rind does exist that it will come in a 34

If your chainline and tension are good, then you could probably get away with running a 1/8" chain on a 3/32" chainring. The chain on my fixie is bigger than chainring I'm using (chainline and tension are spot on) and I haven't had any issues on it. If you want I can confirm the size of the chain when I get home. The chainring was an old 7spd road chainring.

I'm with Jon, I'm running a 1/8" chain on a 3/32" ring with my fixie. I also have Salsa chainrings on two other bikes (available in the size you need) and it works well as a singlespeed and as a 1x9 so I would recommend it for your fixie.
