I have a Surly Moonlander that I bought new in 2013. My rear derailleur, a Shimano RD-M772, long cage, has worn out.

Shimano does not seem to offer nine speed derailleurs any more, and poking around has not unearthed any.

Does anyone sell decent equivalents?

Just beware that linkglide is its own pull ratio iirc. Shimano and other 9 speed options exist still.

If you're looking for something cheap, you can also check out the Microshift 11 speed stuff.

Yeah it'd involve replacing stuff, but it's super cheap. And if something breaks, you can replace it with more Microshift stuff or direct swap in Shimano parts.

We installed it on a buddies fatbike and it seems to work well. Even up here the parts are super cheap.

Not that I'm aware of. I ordered a Shimano derailleur from Universal.

I think I've got 9spd SRAM short, med and long in spares if they're useful to anyone.
