Hey guys new to the forums but not to riding!

I have been primarily an XC cross rider but I am looking to getting into one of these three bikes. Transmission issue with my truck pending these are all very likely scenarios. I get pro-deal prices on DB bikes so this is what I am going with. My only concern with the mission's is that they come with HS cranks and those are not great for XC in case I don't travel to high land to get my "All Mountain" On. So more or less going to be XC riding but in case I do get into more AM stuff I want the 6in of travel, Thoughts? Ideas to help me with my choice?

Update

So I am have decided to go with a 5in trail bike my budget after looking into fixing my truck is about 1500. A local shop has a 2012 Speciliazied Camber that I demo'd and really like. But I have ridden Sorties and I like that bike too. Are there any 5in bikes that I should look at in that price range that are a decent bike? I think I am too short for a 29er so I am really only looking for 26.

Also thought of getting the mission is just switching out the cranks with something else, is it worth the extra money to do that or for someone primarily doing XC stuff to just stay with the 5in Sortie?

Trek Fuel EX series, or Remedy if you want a tad more travel.

I loved my Fuel, it did everything right. Had about 4.7". Gave it up to try a 29er, which I also like, but wish I still had the quality of the fuel. I don't have a ton of time on the Specialized models, but I've never been overly impressed with them. They always work, but don't do anything exceptionally well.
