Howdy all,

I will be in the East Bay with a bike over the holidays and was looking for a good trail or two to ride.

Ride Characteristics:
Near Danville/Walnut Creek area
a 10-15 mile loop would be nice
Something with good climbing and thus good descents!
singe track preferable, but will take what I can get

I would ride Joaquin Miller Park/Redwood in Oakland. It is about 30 minutes for you, depending on traffic in the tunnel.

Otherwise, it is Briones or Mt. Diablo, which is fireroad central.

I hear Las Trampas has some good trails for XC.

Pleasanton has some legal singletrack as well at the Ridge.
