Work is supplying. The few people that have them here swear by them. So iphone is not an option. But are the Palm, or Samsung ones any good?
I'll likely end up with a Curve......

+1I have one , It is just another form of a High tech leash

You can get a 8GB microSDHC for about $20, 8GB w/USB reader for $25 or 16GB for about $70. Most of the current models have internal or external microSD slots and OS supports SDHC.Once you upload music, and realize you can watch youtube vids you basically have an iphone. My $.02
ouch....burn!You deserve nothing more than a raspberry.
I have the "world edition" becasue work told me I had to be availible for trips abroad... hate it.
Email works great - rest of the crap on there is gimicky and doesn't work half the time, and never works as they claim.
On my 3rd replacement phone... and it's already starting to give me problems.
I hate the holster thing.......but you essentially don't have a choice. I keep my phone in my pocket. But a BB Curve is too big.make sure you get the belt mounted holster for it too.
that's because its a rock. The third world doesn't have phones. My third world phone has been solid so far,.....
Most Sheeple have frankenberries cause they work, or because work gets them one.So essentially, I should just go with the BB and not bother looking at anything else?
Ummm... yours doesn't have a "Power-off" option?I have one , It is just another form of a High tech leash
Weird man. My wifey just got the world ed. and loves it. Hopefully she still loves it in a few months.I have the "world edition" becasue work told me I had to be availible for trips abroad... hate it.

I disagree. The LG Dare does everything I want it to. And cheaper than an iphone. Take THAT, Mr. "No Middle Ground"!The only three phones worth getting these days are: Blackberry Bold, Nokia E71, and iPhone
You could have it surgically implanted in your scrotum.I hate the holster thing.......but you essentially don't have a choice. I keep my phone in my pocket. But a BB Curve is too big.
I could wear it on a chain around my neck maybe......
True....it's not being used for anything else...You could have it surgically implanted in your scrotum.
My third world phone has been solid so far,.....
LOL... I'm gonna start refering to it as my "3rd world" phone from now on.that's because its a rock. The third world doesn't have phones.
https://www.rogers.com/web/content/wireless-products/bb_overviewI think the Curve has a lot of room for improvement over older RIM models. I would hold out of the Blackberry Bold which will be released this week or try to find a Rim 8820. I've had call logs/emails/SMS/MMS/etc on my Curve erased due to low memory space (hence the need for an external SD card). Never had that issue with any other Blackberry phone in the last 7 years.
With that being said, I'm a loyal RIM user and will be until somebody else can get on board with Rim's push email technology and simple OS. Plus, Blackberry Messenger kicks ass.
It's not cheaper than the iPhone, both $200.I disagree. The LG Dare does everything I want it to. And cheaper than an iphone. Take THAT, Mr. "No Middle Ground"!
I love my Blackberry Curve. It's super functional, very user friendly, and in two months of having it I've only had to do one battery pull.
I "ALT L G L G" everyday and refresh and clear log... it helps keep it running smooth.
From the home screen press and hold ALT, then press L G L G. It takes you to your log. It's basically the history for your BB. Press the main key, and it'll bring up the options View, Clear Log, Refresh, Options, and Copy Day's Contents. Select "Refresh". Then press the main key again, and select Clear Log.What does that do? I have never done that....
I keep my curve in my pocket... the belt pouch is way to geeky
