I think her point was that if she was getting attacked, she wouldn't care of it was a man, woman, child, whatever - if she's in extreme physical danger, she's going to fight back.

Burly was suggesting it might be grounds to hit a woman. I agree. If I have no other recourse but to hit a woman or be severely wounded, she's going to get hit. I, of course, would take whatever actions necessary to make sure it doesn't come to that, but if it comes to that...
