I was out on a little jaunt today, just one of those I-am-so-stressed-I-just-need-to-ride rides. Notice about halfway through that the MIA bracelet I wear was gone! Not a *huge* deal but it does have some personal value to me. I backtracked for a while and went to the only place on the ride with overhanging branches that might have ripped it off. I see a little shiny thing in the grass and take a closer look. Turns out it's just a two foot long snake! Maybe seems small to some of you folks but we don't see too many multicolored snakes of that size here. Scared to crap out of me. Didn't find the bracelet either....
Actually when I was typing this, I realized it was on my wrist. Must have been under the cuff of my glove when I looked. I'm such a freaking goon.
