Lowering a fork? good instructions?

with so many people lowering their forks, it seems like there would be a really good How-to , or that cuntpanies would make kits or something.


I have a DJ 2 (2002) and a DJ 1 (from my STP). either could be lowered, and I kinda understand how but it seems like it involves cutting/glueing/smashing stuff.

'lil' help?

The blog post works, but does anyone have one more updated and more detailed description by chance? specifically how he disassembled the dampener assembly? and installed the spacer?

Theres gotta be a better material to use than PVC btw also...

I wanna do this to my buddys 05 Drop-Off fork...

Ive heard people say this, but the fact that they're on the negative spring stack should mean that the only force applied is in negative travel (not a riders weight or impacts) The spacers that come stock are some sort of oil resistant plastic. I am told that if you call Marzocchi service techs they'll tell you to use lengths of PVC...
