So, after watching a film at the Cumberland, we retired to Michelle's for a light lunch.
I started with:
Bacon-wrapped Dates [flame-broiled] with a balsamic vinegar reduction sauce and candied ginger:
And Tuna Tartare with some of the same reduction sauce and tiny sourdough toasts:
After those little yummies were done for, I had the main - BLT on a toasted croissant with soup-du-jour [tomato and pumpkin spice with sour cream]:
For those of you keep track of these things, the drinks were two Absintinis - martinis made with Hill's Absinthe instead of vodka or gin. Very strong and bitter. Mmmmm.
