I'm having a really hard time getting my front rotor to line up with the caliper on my lyrik. It is an Abbah 20mm front hub, and pushes the rotor so far outboard that the disc adapter cannot compensate. Brakes are 8" juicy 5's. The calipers have a fair amount of side to side adjustment, but even maxed out, they cannot center the rotor. Thus, it rubs and is far from an ideal setup. I even had to remove the top alignment washers because they too were rubbing on the rotor. Only solutions I can think of are:
- new adapter
- dremel existing adapter or caliper
- new hub (really want to avoid this...)
There's no way I want to try facing the hub... too much room for error.
Any thoughts?
