ive got to build this thing up for a racer, just had time to fondle it a bit and realize intense did it again with all the sexyness and all.

factoids
headtube is reamed to only 15mm, so you cant use fsa deep cups, blackspire, diabolus nor ck steelsets without reaming.
needs a 120mm spindle to clear cranks, 118 might do in some cases.

weight
what you see there, m3 medium, with seat collar, black powdercoat, swinger 6way and a 400lbs steel spring came in at 5215g, thats 11,51lbs

im a bit puzzled by the axle though, the spacing is about 140mm and some spacers are included that fit around a 10mm qr hub axle, anyone know how its supposed to be set up?

I can only agree on the sexyness for the two complete builds that where ridden at Mt. Creek they looked very good. I will be interesting to hear if the ride lives up to the look.

wasnt the frame engineered around a specific list of parts? doesnt the frame come with a spec sheet that shows you what size BB, hub, MRP and all the related ins and outs etc. ??

im sure they arent just building a frame on the jig without reguard to the parts that are going to be installed on it, right ??

good luck.

it doesnt come with a spec sheet, and the catalog pictures arent much use either, they show it with a defunct fork and with saint cranks that according to intense CS (ill be calling them up later because at least so far each time ive needed them they have had their facts straight) arent the best choice because you have to space the bb out so that few threads engage the bb.

Yeah SCB should get royaltis or something, that looks just like a VPP...oh wait nevermind.

Looks good. I really like that fork you've got on there. Is that dial/knob a travel adjuster? Sweet!! :p

You know those spacers you got??? My M1 came with some adapters to run a QR in the rear, and then I purchased some other adapters to run my 12mm TA axle. 2 look like giant thick washers, and the QR ones have a step down in the middle.

Looks sweet though, They do look sexy don't they??? :) :) :)

You'll have to post some pics of it completed!

yea well i figured thats exactly what they were for, but check this out

if i put both the QR ones on, i get between 132 and 131 mm spacing, no good

and the other ones, that look like they would do the trick for 12mm thruaxle, well theyre 11,7mm ID........

My friend got his built up yesterday. He has Saint cranks with no spacers.

interesting!

what crank arm length did he use?
170mm cranks. Installation of chainguide was little problematic though. The backplate of e13 SRS needed little fine tuning with angle grinder

PS I rode on it today and the first impression was very good...

aha good to know, maybe that was why intense said it needed spacing out, or it could be that the MRP they normally use was even harder to install without spacing out the cup.

I'm getting one soon (sponsored) and was wondering about the rear axle. is it included with the frame? if so, can a 10mm TA w/ 135 mm spacing fit on there without having to buy any additional parts? what chainguide are you going to run?
