Any have any rough ideas what I can get for a launch (2006) mac pro 2.66 quad xeon with 6gb of ram and bluetooth?

I need to unload it as I never use it and need a new laptop. Includes keyboard, mouse, all original discs and packaging and is running snow leopard.

Is $1500 too lofty?

Macs in general do, yes. Ebay is showing this model from anywhere from 1000 to 1500 with a few days left. Usually with less ram (2-4gb vs 6).

I just dont know if some guy got lucky on ebay or what.

I paid $2K for a dual quad core (8 cores) 2.26 with 8gb ram. 1500 will be quite the sale for a single processor machine. Hope you can get it.

Not a huge deal on the mac pros. They went from dual core, to quad core to octo core. Besides that, not a massive amount of changes.

They ran $3500+ new (ish).
