It is best to time the meal so that M&C is ready to come out of the oven just before intruders kick the door down so it is good and hot and sticky just when you smack them in the head with it.

Actually, under these circumstances, the Julia Child stance is more effective.
I bet Julia Child could shoot m&c out of her nostrils.
Julia Child was OSS during WW2...she could kill you with her M&C, dispose of your corpse, then serve the M&C and no one would be the wiser...
My house is surrounded by a moat of buttered al dente macaroni. While the opposing forces are mired in mac, they are met with a hellfire of molten cheese raining from above. My sicilian mother in law then carmelizes the whole mess with a WW1-era flame thrower.
