On the Senate floor Wednesday, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., suggested Democrats are sore losers. Rice had enough votes to win confirmation, as even her Democratic critics acknowledge, McCain said.

“So I wonder why we are starting this new Congress with a protracted debate about a foregone conclusion,” McCain said. Since Rice is qualified for the job, he said, “I can only conclude that we are doing this for no other reason than because of lingering bitterness over the outcome of the election.”

yep, good to see a woman who oversaw the two largest disasters in American intelligence in our history to get bumped up the ladder

gee Condi, do you think the report titled "Al Queda seeks to attack targets inside US" should have been brought a LITTLE more to W's attention a couple of months before 9/11?

and gosh, EVERYTHING you told congress about Iraq was either a lie or a mistake - good job girl! congrats on a job well done!

The ONLY thing this woman has done well for the past 4 years is suck up to her boss, and repeat what she's told to...
