Hi.
Feels like I've searched all over the internet
for black intense mag 30 26" rims. Anybody
who knows where I can get it?

The Mag-30 only comes in that blue -ish color.
The same rim labeled as a doubletrack by Sunn is the version in black.
Chech their website if you want to compare side by side.
Oh, by not slapping on the Intense Mag-30 decal you get charged $10 or $20 less.

Mag30 is welded, DoubleTrack is pinned only. Makes no difference in my experience. I've seen a Mag30 cracked all over including the weld. But they're very strong rims in general. DT costs half a Mag30 or less. There is such a thing as black mag30s (welded) but it's rare.

i own black, welded doubletracks.......not sure of where you can get them online, but KHS carries them, so your local shop should be able to order them. They are pretty good rims, but there are better available for the money.

Are you dead set on the Mag30?

The new DT's (FR 6.1d) is a really nice rim. It looks just like a black Mag30 but is a little narrower and only weighs ~690gms.

Yeah, the exist. Ive seen quite a few.

Try your LBS, they are in the distributor books (at least here in Canada).

Well it's all semantics anyway. Doubletrack is typically the name for the non welded version and mag30 is the name for the welded one. Once you tear off the stickers it makes no difference... it's either welded or not.
