I picked up a few of these at Ikea for my garage to hold tools and whatnot: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/00110353

I had one left over so I attached it to my Park workstand. I drilled holes and tapped them for 10/32 thread screws (I was surprised how thick the workstand tube walls are). The magnets are very strong, check out the pic:

I think it makes for a good temporary holder, but the last time I worked with a set of allen keys on a magnetic strip, I kept knocking them down and having to stop to put them back up.

This one from Ikea is really strong, it would hold a hammer if it wasn't so slippery. I have one on my workbench that is holding about 16 Craftsmen wrenches.

Plus now you can impress people by tossing a wrench blind over your shoulder and have it "WHANNNGGGG!" straight onto the stand...ala Kill Bill.
