At a certain point, what are you going to do? Also, there is a large ledge to their side for shelter, if needed. But they should be behind it already...

So the video says that Hallet Peak, and the "Towers" is/was a climbing spot. That rock face that collapses entirely into the fucking earth is a 1,000' face. Looking with that perspective some of those falling boulders are literally the size of your house.

What are you going to do? You move the fuck away, quickly.
I'd wager that "large ledge" wouldn't stand a chance in protecting those people if the rocks made it down to them.
