Hello All--
Well, I did it-- I registered for the Mammoth marathon for next month. I feel I have some unfinished business there, and I was given Gerard's (USACycling head honch) "blessing" that I'd be allowed to finish.
I've been to the Mammoth site, and I'm looking forward to seeing what they have planned for the course. They still list last year's course description when it was run out of the main lodge, which can be confusing, since the event will be out of Canyon Lodge this year. I'm planning on being there Wednesday the 14th to pre-ride, then the event on the 15th, and then celebrating our 8th anniversary after that.
If any of you will be there, I'll be on my Cannondale (with Alaina's seat on) Wed., then my new Cake on Thurs. Stop me to say "Hi", as I'd love to meet you.
