Does anyone know for sure what type of springs the 2003 Manitou Firefly came w/ on the Giant AC1 from the same year...titanium or steel? I'm only wondering since I ran across a RM thread talking about how some companies put steel springs in their fireflys to cut costs.

its ti, the ones that have steel springs are the 04 models that are pretty inexpensive

Cool, thanks. I was hoping they would be TI considering it came on the AC1 for 2003. It's on the AC2 for 2004, so that would make a bit more sense $$$-speaking.
