The axle is threaded for a end cap , this is the same thread needed to run a peg with a standard allen bolt bought at any local hardwear store .

i have a peg on a trailblade 2(had) and the peg was machined out for 20mm

Sounds like you got the jist, just use a standard bolt in place of the allen on the non-drive side. On the drive side you need to tap the axle...
