The fork is awesome. I dont think you can raise it. The Jumper comes a little soft at first for a 175 lbs rider, but some stiffer springs will help that. Overall, its a great fork.

i had a hard time finding the correct springs for my Jumper. they aren't listed in any catalog (or they weren't, at least), and the shop i ordered them from first ordered the wrong springs, then ordered springs that weren't the correct part number, but were "proper substitutes". the fork is badass, and simple as can be. it's a shame Manitou doesn't do more for it than advertise it on their site.

i believe there was an OEM 100mm, or 110mm, Jumper on some bikes. P-series, perhaps?

Yeah, the P. 3 had a camo 110 mm Sherman. Not sure if it was a Jumper, but I guess it must be.

the fork on the P.3 was a Sherman Jumper 110 available oem only, and the 80mm Jumper was discontinued for '05. The jumper 110 was one the forks that needed the tire upgrade, and it only gets 90mm of travel. I have one that was made for me with x-firm springs. I love mine, it doesn't have the compression adjustmnet like the 80mm jumper but still has the rebound.

The Sherman Jumper is renamed as the Gold Label now for 2006 and comes in 110 mm and 80 mm versions. I had a 05 Jumper and loved it, the axle to crown has gotta be one of the lowest there is and makes for great street/dj/park geo. I've got an 05 Pike now I love the lockout, but wish it was lower than 95 mm.

the gold forks are NOT shermans, they are travis external parts w/ stance (boo!!!!) internals, i havnt ridden one but i have heard good things...and they look cool (but not as cool as shermans)

There are 2 spacers inside a Sherman Jumper. You'd just have to take out or cut down one of the spacers and then replace the upper spring.
