My buddy has a 80mm Manitou SX (Red, late '90's I think) and it is spewing fluid from the TPC side. We tried calling Answer and they don't support those older forks any more. I would think that the seals from a Mars or maybe Skarab would even work. I am wondering if anybody has old spare seals or parts laying around for one of these forks or can verify if we can use other parts etc.

They might be the same, can you pull the old ones out and compare them to new ones at your LBS?

Check the area right where the crown meets the stanchion for cracks. That era was very prone to cracking there.

This fork was actually new old stock so it is otherwise in good shape. It is on an XC bike and ridden fairly lightly by a sub 150lb guy. I also just found out that this fork might be a cartridge and the cartridge could be what's blown, not just seals. If anybody (ufdff15) has an old but good condition cartridge or damaged for with good internals, I would pay shipping to get the spares...

Yes, it's a cartridge fork, and yes the SX Ti seals should fit.

But... FYI, Even if you do get it working, your fork brace will probably crack soon, and your going to continue to blow seals if you plan to use if for any slightly abusive riding.
