not to sound like a smartass, but have you tried measuring it with a ruler? you'll want the eye to eye - from center to center of each mounting bolt

I got that part,

But don't I need to know the travel as well.

I just good at riding the bikes, I've never had to replace a shock before.

So, I basically have no idea what I am doing...

nah no worries. generally, a shock of a certain i2i corresponds with only one stroke length. so find one, you can find the other.
