marzocchi 44 RC3 Ti or X-Fusion Velvet RL????

Just picked up a Blur LT frame and now I have a shot at buying either a 44
RC3 ti or a Velvet RL for about the same price. The Velvet is lighter and the travel can be adjusted. The 44 cost about twice as much but I can get it for the same price as the Velvet, and I assume that it would have a better resale value. Besides all of that I really don't know how either ride.
