Hello,

I have seen serevral problems with crowns cracking on DJ's and a Z1.
I heared this was a typical 2003 problem but I am not sure about it. Did the crowns change for 2004? And does the DJ have the same crown as the Z1?

yeah they re-did the mounts for the integrated fender. the hole was a stress riser, dunno how they fixed it, prolly just a fillet/chamfer

The 2003 models had this problem. 04+ has a different design which makes it a non-issue.

I just cracked the crown on my 04 DJ1 and they fully warrentied it! Marz rules
