At first I thought, maybe it's the ESL language barrier thing, then I realized ...Its like people who say specialized is the best manufacturer in the world,to bad they don't actually make their bikes.
its all MARKETING.
p.s everyone I know with a 888ti people love them, the only problem is the lact of compression ajust, wich has been fixed for 2012.
Only girls need small bump sensitivityI'm dying to spend some time on an RC3...supposedly it lacks the maintenance issues and actually has small bump sensitivity, unlike the boxxer platform.
cunningham was the first. i think cannondale and klein preceded the alu yeti as well.you want an american made "yeti"? call spooky, ask them to have FTW make you a frame (he made the very first aluminum yetis, and IIRC these were the very first aluminum mtb's PERIOD)
Fox and Trek are 2100 miles apart from one another.owner of marz wishs trek would buy.Wont happen with fox down the street from them.
yep, california is right next door actually to WisconsinWont happen with fox down the street from them.
bwhahahaha, that thread is gold..of course fox and rs fanboys gonna hate cause they are smothered in marketing ejaculate and rubbing their nipples
cough RS coughi
if you are selling $1000+ mountain bike accesories, which is very high end/borderline luxury, regardless of what we bike snobs believe, and decide to manufacture them in Asia to cut costs (whats the actual cost of manufacturing/retail really???), you are killing the very reason of its existance...
better do it soon. apparently theyre going out of businessAnd like Ih8rice and others who actually own the newer EVO models, I have found mine to be an outstanding fork (even stock). Looking to get Ronnie to give the Ih8rice treatment over the winter.
Was my first thought too. Just the mtb division.SR Suntour buys Marzocchi - that's my guess.
They would have to rename it Godzilla.I would have bought a supermonster, but it just isnt the same made in asia
I always thought shimano would like to make forks so they can sell complete builds like that other S company
funny wen one of my superiors found out of this,he braught up the oconomy and some other italian compagny that shut its doors last year ( some road stuff ) lol@having more then one office, will get back on this matter because I love being showed upIt's funny that nobody has mentioned the economic plight of Italy (as a nation) as [what I believe to be] a pretty big driving factor behind this....
ftfy...They would have to rename it Gozira <-- if made in Asia.
this is a fantastic thaught.I always thought shimano would like to make forks so they can sell complete builds like that other S company
not our experience in the UK, 2010-2011 return rate of +75%, all QC issues ( frame tolerances and virtual pivots )Marz move to asia, wasnt as such a bad move, they just didnt do their research about other cultures properly.
look at Evil bikes and banshee, they had bikes made at the same factory, but evil seems to have forgotten to station someone there permanently to do the QC, where as im fairly sure thats the move that banshee did, put at least a couple of guys there doing the on-site QC.
You would think bigger companies like marz would know better, but they werent the first to forget the cultural details in dealing with these far east countries.
And im sure they wont be the last.
