am i wrong or did only the Dirt Jam Pro (stock fork on entry level bikes) used to have coil in one fork leg and air in the other ? looks like they are back to that design.

why they are not pushing 80mm as the standard is kinda strange ....

They are pushing 4" because it makes more sense for frames designed for 4X, which the big frame manufacturers try to sell to us as "DJ" frames. :)

Same reason there are unnecessary disc mounts on "DJ" forks.

I like the coil air combo. I also like the disk brake tabs. From all the skid marks I see F'ing up our trails--a lot more "riders" should invest in a front brake (some of 'em need a rear brake too).
