I was wondering how the Marzocchi MX pro would handle some light freeride 4 feet or less?

You can brake anything if you are unlucky enough, but for 4' or less you've got nothing to worry about, unless of course you suffer some very bad luck.
i think that it will handle it if you are very smooth. but i would go for a z1 or a psylo just to be on the safe side.
It should work just fine, I've got a friend that had beat on his pretty good and it still goes strong. Next step up would be a Z1 or Fox Vanilla.
