Ok guys, I'm new to this forum.
I have a 2005 Marzocchi Z.1 Freeride 3, I love the fork, but it has way too much travel for my riding style ( it has 150mm). I would just like to know if there's a way to lower the travel on these forks? 4 inches would be perfect... I went to my local bike store and they had a look at the marzocchi manual and the lowest they can drop it down, is 5 inches... Is there a possible way to go to 4 inches and still have the 2 year Marzocchi warranty?

I am positive that you can drop the 05 Z1 FR 3 to 130mm but I doubt you can do it to 100mm without causing some issues. It probably has to do with the length of some of the internal components. I hear you about the travel though, do we really need 150mm of travel to trail ride. I kind of doubt it...
