are there a set of numbers that dictate howmuch more/less mass a volume of one material verses the same volume of another material

example 1unit of materal A (steel) mutiplyed by number X = the mass of an equaly sized unit of materal B (aluminum).

I hope this makes some sense..

yah problem is when I was 12 I didnt really care what density was... all I knew was the kid beside me was really "dense" and I was most likely thinking about going jumping..:D
