They messed up the results for Men's Ex 19-29. I'm pretty sure they switched my time with Scott Lowry's since Steve said the clock said 3:40 when I finished, but there are other mess ups: Matt McHale was given 5th at the awards, Dan was given 2nd, I was given 3rd, and Scott was given 4th.

Can't complain though, it was a great race and George did a heck of a job!

I still say 30-39 SM was a bit fishy. My time posted on the clock at finish was not what was posted as final result. 2 guys at the finish told me what my time and I was stoked, until the printout was posted. Did I protest...NO....who's fault is it...ME.....did I have a good time....YES

I don't know how old the guy that won the 40+ expert is(Jerry Hayes), but that f'in guy was rippin!! I was shocked watching him blast out of the gate and pedal all though the top rock garden.
BTW I got 2nd in 40+ sport with two crashes, broke middle left hand finger. It was a great weekend though. Love that course.

Matt D should have got an award for "Best Dressed".

Jerry Hayes is a monster among mena nd incredibly humble. He was the ole fella climbing up the gravel road all the way to the top on every practice run.
Sometimes if the lift is slow, he climbs up to do runs....he can race XC on his DH in Expert class...not exagerating on it...he's done it.

Congratulations on a podium finish Jim, sounds like you and big Jim had a good time. I got drunk on Friday and wasted away a nice weekend.

i'd like to know what my actual time was as well. when i started,my front wheel hit the starting sensor but just knocked it to the side and it swung back,it didn't swing all the way around like it was supposed to. i'm not positive that it affects my time but there is a good chance the guy was just like "uuhhh...ok,start it now!" a couple seconds after i left the platform.

oh well. my race run was the 6th time i had ridden that bike,and the first time i'd been on a real DH bike on a real DH course in about 6 months. i guess i feel pretty good about it. some cardio training wouldn't hurt...

yeah, to say the least. I have watched him just blow by the guys in the local crit series on the final lap.........SITTING DOWN!!!!! He destroys the cat. 3 racers any day.

somethin is wrong with this i think.... cause i got a second place medal.... and on both these results i finished 3rd. and im pretty sure theres no way the guy they're saying fnished 2nd beat me. he got passed by the kid who won and i passsed two guys my self...i dunno, i still got the medal haha
