Question 2 : Write the equation of a line in slope intercept form for a line having a slope of 2 and a y-intercept of 3.

a. y=2x+3
b. y=3x+2
c. y=(1/3)x+3
d. y=(2/3)x+3




Question 3 Write the equation of a line that passes through the points (0,0) and (3,3). Write it in the form : Ax+By=C.

a. -x-y=1

Question 4 : Solve the equation: 4s-8=2a+2s. What is the value for "s"?

a. s=a+4
b. s=a-4
c. s=4a+2
d. s=a-2






Question 6 Solve the equation: 2b+4(2-b)=8. What is the value for "b"?

Question 9 Write the equation of a line that passes through the points (0,1) and (3,-5). Write it in the form : Ax+By=C.

You really do need to do your own homework... there ain't no other way to learn math except by doing.

PS: You just might be needing this: y = mx + b

-8+(-6)(-3)/9

I came up with -6/12=-1/2 but the answers to choose from are:
a. -3/4
b. 7/8
c. -3/5
d. 4/7
??????????????????????????

How in the $*&^*#$( do you get a 12 in the denominator? :confused:
