That kid is cool as hell and has many many skills on a bike. Good to see him back on a big team roster. I expect some big results from him this year.

Cool news - Honda has help spark some new interest in WC for me again with both good riders and the bike but RR I think G-string is better than G-Cross :) Now if they would show the WC on TV in the states.

Matti is a good kid and a great rider. Glad to see he got an A-level ride for '05.

Awesome, very well deserved after running more of a privateer setup in 2004, he was looking for a bigger and better deal and it doesnt get much bigger than this! Congrats to Matti.

What happened to Cyrille Kurtz? Is he off the team?

"The 20-year-old Matti Lehikoinen will be replacing 18-year-old junior rider Cyrille Kurtz."

Looks like Kurtz is gone, but it doesn't say why.

He didnt exactly get the results that Honda was expecting out of him for this season Im assuming. Although he did damn well for an 18 year old I just dont think he was anything spectacular. Im assuming he was hired to come back this year and win junior worlds (which he didnt do) so I guess he got scrapped.

I gotta admit MW doesn't have luck on his side when it comes to that damn junior DH title, Minnaar (riding for Kona) choked in '99 ,then Mick Hannah (on Global) did his collar bone in just before worlds when he was the favuorite, Then Matti also didn't make it when he was the Euro champ and now Kurtz this year.

I think he's gotta sponsor a nobody junior to get that title, oh wait Strait will get it next year ;)
