Hallo! i bought the nipple wrench 1635/2p and it doesn't match my mavic deemax wheels (2011 or 2012, can't recall)

The original mavic wrench that came with the wheels, has this label:
"PAA GF50 no 1" and also has a number next to it: 11

Which is the correct nipple wrench?

Thank you!

checked the 2012 mavic tech manual, it referred back to the 2009 manual (assuming same for the 2011, but the 2011 tech manual does not include any references to deemax wheels). if you want to confirm the year model, there should be part numbers printed either on the rim decal or hub decal.

that indicated spoke wrench M40494, google turned this up for something compatible:

here are the links to the tech manuals i referenced:

edit - looking at the park SW-13 it states the larger end fits the M40494 spoke adapters - not the spoke itself (the adapters are the forehole screws they used on their UST rims like the 823).

just to clarify 2 things: is the wrench you bought too large or too small? and at which end?

i believe the deemax rims were UST, are you trying to adjust the nipple itself or the forescrew that threads into the rim?

The wrench is small i guess, cause can't embrace the nipple.

The wheels are deemax ultimate UST (2011 or 2012)

The nipples have 7 splines.

Here are photos (the mavic plastic wrench has worn down splines):

I don't know if this wrench fits, but it indicates nº 3 instead of nº 1

I had similar Deemax wheels at some point and I don't recall that tool having the spoke wrench built in. It was separate.

I did however have to use that preload adjust constantly on the rear hub.
