I recently purchased a bottle of mead (Trapper Creek Dark Mead) upon recommendation from my boss. This stuff is great. What are some meads that you monkeys enjoy?

Never had it. Perhaps that's a good place to start.
How much did it taste like honey?
Jenn and I went to a friend's house to help him brew some mead this past weekend and he had two different bottles for us to try. One tasted very much like fairly sweet white wine and I probably wouldn't have even tasted the honey if I didn't know what it was. The other tasted exactly like what I expected mead to taste like: alcoholic honey. Very distinctly honey flavored and not as thin as the first bottle.
I'm looking forward to trying the stuff he brewed. Used about 10lbs. of honey in it.

There is a good amount honey taste to the stuff I have.
I like it but don't drink it often. A big part of the taste is the quality of the honey, source of the honey (clover, orange blossom, raspberry blossom, etc.) used and whether it's a straight mead or a variation of mead ie. melomel (made using fruit) or metheglin (made with spices/herbs).
