Morning.

Had some people over on Saturday afternoon/evening. Might have taken a few years off the life of my liver.

Yesterday I watched USMNT beat Turkey. World Cup starts in a week and a half :weee::headbang::spartak:

Yo. 75 miles on the road bike yesterday. I don't ride though.

Got some nice sunburn. Not bad at all, but just enough slight sting to let me know I got some sun.

Spent some time at the casino this weekend and finally got my wife to play blackjack instead of pumping $150 an hour into the ****ing slot machines. I might actually enjoy going if my wife doesn't come back to me 45 minutes after we get there "I'm out of money."

Wow, time is in fact going by too fast, we are at 17 weeks already!!! Just wow. Seriously took my breath away seeing and watching the sonogram as I saw hands moving and scratching his head, twisting around eyc, hearing the heartbeat..... Holy crap this is real!!! Cannot wait to get that first bike

Mornin!

Got in some good miles on the MTB yesterday then went to the pool, grilled, and swam. Nothing to complain about there.

Got my morning swim in and I'm now at work 1 hour early. The swim went way faster doing intervals instead of just cruising. I have a 20 mile ride after work today, that I will be doing on the trainer.

I found all of the parts to my HR monitor and odometer. I need to replace the batteries in everything. I want something that tracks mileage for running too, but I'm not paying $300 for a GPS powered watch. I can use strava for elevation/distance for the bike, but running with my phone is not convenient, as I have no good way to carry it. I might get a running CamelBack though, to carry water and my phone.

All things that I need to decide how to handle...

Did a pre-run of some of the enderpo course for the north shore enduro to be held next weekend. Some great trails, some less great trails. I rode the less great variety.

No flats (success!) but I could sense that my bike wasn't happy with me when we got to the bottom of Neds. That trail...

Besides a really good 3 hour mtb ride Saturday it was all about the boys. My oldest son scored an almost brand new Specialized bike from our neighbors and the little guy rode his pedal bike for the first time. After 5 minutes he was riding on his own after having ridden his balance bike the last 2 years. He turned 4 last month. He had a blast and so did big brother on his new bike

20 miles on the trainer tonight. I always forget how much harder the trainer is for equidistant rides.
