DEFINATELY saw over 14 meteors, three VERY bright, short, and fast, and one VERY dim VERY slow moving one that lasted for almost 20 seconds...along with many many other possible meteors caught out of the corner of my eye. Thanks for letting people know. I really needed something like this tonight.
THat and REAL polution is pretty high right now. It is better near the ocean and above and below the sound. The puget sound has a stagnant pocket of polution clouding the skys too. Making it hard to see. I slept last night. :
We were watching it at Skeikampen in norway, were the latest ridepics in the "norway ridepics " thread are from.
It was really fantastic. It was a cold and wery clear night, just perfect. No light polution at all. Me and three others were sitting outside after the mtb nerdquiz talking into the night.
Perfect end of the evening.
