Im just curious but are the Michy numbers (16, 24.1, 32) a way to rate rubber compound or are they just identification numbers? Do the numbers signify anything?

I too believe that all the tires are the same compound. For some reason though I think that the MudIII might have a different compound than the rest.
I love Michelins because you do not need to worry about compund choices because they grip amazingly on just about every surface if you choose the right tread pattern and at the same time they wear more slowly than other DH tires out there. You get the grip and they dont wear out fast, you cant ask for much more than that.
