Yea! It didn't sell at this price for 7 years, but maybe this year is the year!

Are there really people out there willing to shell out $3,500 for a 20 year old bike?
people pay ou the ass for old bmx stuff....old skatebord decks....

worth a shot. i'm in a vintage DH group on FB, there's a huge EU presence.
Insanity. Cant think of anything from that era that I'd seek out and pay gobs of money for, except maybe a 2002 Monster T, BMW Racelink, or a 6" single crown that would fit said RFX.

monster T's are a hot commodity. all gens. lots of super monsters too.

the people that still have BMW DH bikes (RL, TMX, etc) aren't selling them. they know better. but they sure show them off.

Had a 2002 Monster with 2003 crowns BITD. Was a fantastic fork so long as the trail pointed down.

Monsters felt good because they had a quart of oil in them.
They were also quite stiff, were a reasonable weight, and had a low A2C height compared to their contemporaries. Well, at least the 02, they got a bit porky in 03.

I loved my 99 Monster T. Great turning radius. Rocked that on my Canfield F1 and Evil Imperial for shits and giggles.

To be fair, I think it was a "south of the Mason-Dixon Line" thing... and Michigan. And Vegas. :disgust1:
this. but now they race in NH and CA too - on "road" courses.

i'm in the damn heart of it-most of the teams have hq here; many drivers live here, plus the dang hall of fame is 2 blocks from where i work.
