Finally stopped raining, again. Got almost 3” yesterday. Sun is out and fall like temps for the next several days should help dry things out..
We got something on the order of two and a half inches of rain. The soil just drank it up, nothing is flowing in the roadway ditches or culverts.
i thought i was out of brandy last night, but lo and behold i still had another unopened bottle.
I have like 25 ancient bottles in the basement that I'll never open.
i don't drink a lot of it, i like a little splash in apple cider.

I picked up the Land Cruiser from its detailing and saw the horrible smoke on the way back home. Therefore opted not to mountain bike.
Instead me, my mask, and my commuter bike are on the R line, headed south to pick up the wife’s minivan (oil change and two recalls).
It's pretty shitty out there. I had ash on my truck when I went to the dentist this morning.
this makes me sad. I mean, it's good for youz guyz down there, but knowing I won't be able to make my annual pilgrimage to Vermont sucks. And it's always nice to do a road trip when it doesn't rain.
