:help:
I am going to be building up a new bike and I will be needing to go to a 20mm front hub.

I really like my wheelset which is a navy blue King QR hubs laced with DB DT spokes to Mavic EX823's with navy blue alloy nipples. I am thinking of just building a new matching front wheel but I don't want to build another wheel with a 20mm only hub. I want to use an interchangeable hub like the True Precision "Stealth" hub I have used on my DH bikes for a few years now with good results. Stealth hubs only come in black and are hard to come by due to the frequency and size of production runs so that is pretty much out of the question this time. I was checking out Middleburn's interchangeable front hub and wondering if their navy blue color is very similar to Kings. It looks to be in the pics but I want to know if anyone has compared them in person.

I am also assuming that the quality is good since their cranks are so nice, but any input on that would be appreciated too. I might just get some '05 Deemax but I really prefer to run a King rear hub at least for the awesome engagement and the super-light weight since I trail ride most commonly.

Thanks in advance for any input!

Seb is a good person to pm about this. He's got some contact with the middleburn people.

He seemed plenty happy with his middleburn hub too.

just a side note, Ibexsports will no longer be the US distributor for middleburn stuff, and middleburn UK has yet to find a new distributor in the US

well you can take this how you want to, but this is their warranty policy off their website forhte RS-7s
"LIFETIME warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. Covers competitive DH, trials and jumping!"
so theyre pretty confident...

not that they inlcude threads or splines in that.

I bent my first set pretty quick but the second set is going good.

I certainly dont think you'd find a similar strength crank at such a low weight.

Mine just made it through it first season of DH and have been great, very stiff and very light, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another set or recommend them to another person.
