I have a dryer like this that is a few years old. It wasn't nearly this bad, but I did find burnt lint, and that is scary. Don't let your dryers get like this-

Whoa. I'm just about to move into a new [for me] house and the dryer in there has gotta be from the 80's. I'll most definitely be sucking that thing clean. Thanks for the tip.

when i moved into my current apartment, there was lint packed into every crevice of the dryer. the lint trap was absolutely disgusting. took 2hrs to get it usable. so gross. i thought chicks knew how to clean?

Wew just bought a new dryer (propane powered) and I am looking forward to using it lots!

PS--my old dryer was probably 20 years old and NEVER looked like that!

we have had a gas dryer for over 20 years . I love it , will never go back to an electric.
