I just picked up a pair of ST tires because it rained 90% of the time every race last year. Since I'm using the Stan's it is a pain in the neck for me to change tires.
If I keep the ST tires on how do they perform on dry summer conditions? Are the better than a pair of Gazzi's?

anything is better than gazzis imo! i had a pair of the core 2.6, and they were nice and light but were also really sketchy on packed dirt...

They work great for me!!

I like to use the 60 durometer (harder compound) than super tacky, to save the tread. And use super tacky or slow reezay for wet, rocks and roots.

The Minions are primarily a dry weather tire. They're not so good when things get really loose, but for dry decently packed conditions, they can't be beat. If things get really loose, go for the high rollers, they'll track better in the loose stuff.
