Can anyone point me in the direction of some good information revalving suspension for specific needs? I've played with various shocks and forks over the years and often had wins when there was an obvious problem/coarse solution - manitou's with too slow rebound comes to mind, but where do you go to start understanding things further? There seems to be more information in RM threads on boxxers and 5th's than there is on the rets of the interboggle. I found one book on ebay "The shock absorber handbook" by John Dixon. Anyone know it?
Basically if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Post up a description of your shim stack (shim specifications and order) and the characteristics you have now, as well as the characteristics you want to achieve, and there'll be at least half a dozen people on here who'll be able to help you out. Also, mentioning which fork/shock you have (and if shock, which frame) would be helpful - knowing the spring curves helps too.
