So I set out on a mission over the weekend to get a new charcoal grill. My new place came with a gas grill hard tubed to the house. I h ate gas grills.
My oldest daughter and myself cycled to a few different stores and stumbled upon what I was looking for at an electronice store, El Giganten.
Me "this is exactly what I am looking for"
Daughter "how are you going to get it home"
Me "(jokingly) on my bike"
Daughter "not possible"
me "........................challange accepted"
Snow!! Um... snow?? Wow, and a really awful drive into work the AM. Schools are closed.... luckily I still have my snow tires on! Yay for laziness!! It's supposed to keep snowing/sleeting/raining throughout the day, so the drive home should be just as exciting.
In other news... I got three awesome mtb rides in this weekend.
Really tired after the weekend. Changing tires finally before a trip to Maribor with no fitness which will surely mean serious pain on 4km tracks with serious elevation. Still I'm happy and I'm finally loosing corporate fat.
G'Mornin, Colonel Anus reporting for duty. My back is fried from installing a glass block window yesterday, but I did manage to get a 2-hour ride in. Finding a lot of fun and scenic trails right out of my new back gate.
Morning. No snow here, but lots of much needed rain. Supposed to have a LUNA Ride tonight, but it's looking 50/50 right now as it's still raining. Took Syd to See "Mirror, Mirror" and planted a bunch of seeds, flowers, trees & shrubs for Earth Day with Syd's Daisy scout troop this weekend in between the rain drops. It was fun and the girls certainly loved getting dirty in the mulch! Concert dress rehearsals are today and my spring concert is tomorrow night.
It's snowing like crazy here in western NY but luckily not much of ot is sticking. It rained most of the weekend so no rides for me. Spent a good amount of time working on the baby's room. Putting together a used baby crib with no instructions is nearly impossible!
Guess who rode her bike in today?! Yup! Me! And Lucas rode to school this morning as well. Last year was 1.2 miles for the 4 year old, but that school closed and his new school is 2.5 miles with a "big hill". So proud of my little one! Husband rode in too--though we don't get to ride with him... and couldn't keep up anyway! Good job family!
Also did a ride to Red Hook brewery with some friends on Saturday. Had a grand old time.
Spent yesterday in the garden attempting to help prep the house for painting it next weekend so we don't lose our insurance and doing some weeding. I was mostly pulling up the "jungle" from under the palm trees, and I call any day I sit in the shade under a palm tree and am comfortably warm a win.
