I'm usually not one to complain about the weather, but how in 'Tarnation is a man supposed to get his almost 6 year old kid to the bmx track in almost 100 degree (via the heat index) weather....full face, long pants, etc and so on? Uggh.

'Morning! Wife and I took the day off today. HOORAY!

I made my duathlon debut yesterday. 4.5K run, 40K bike, 10K run. I finished in 2:43:56, and placed 16/47 overall. Not bad for a cripple.

    4.5K run: 22:10, 7:37 pace, 267' climbing
    40K bike: 1:22:56, 17.5 mph, 1400' climbing
    10K run: 55:40, 8:59 pace, 361' climbing

That was very hard. Today I am beat.

    mornin'.
Folks were in town this weekend. Did the Strip Saturday night. HAd free Donny & Marie tix. Didn't make it through the whole show. Did the pool on Saturday. I am 'tan' now for the first time in five years. My vitamin D store have been restored since leaving the Great White North.

I just found a decent deal on Heckler here in town. thinking about pulling the trigger. L is on board so I just need to go take a closer look at it.

Had a great weekend with the kid. Went to Mississippi Street Fair on Saturday, lots of great food and art, it was awesome. Chased a Ferrari up Skyline road, fun times. Long work week ahead, yay.

The wife's birthday was last Thursday, and I got her a rafting trip. So we did that on Saturday. She's been talking about it for years, but was terrified on the drive up there. We had a great guide who eased her fears and we ended up having a good time.

    Back the yooj today.
