Another warm fall day in Copenhagen. I will go for a road ride soon and then all four of us will go see Chappell and Rock this evening hopefully for a good laugh.

Online conference. Wanted to join in person, but 2 days of travel for 2 days of conference, no way I have the time for that right now.

My first job of the day went to shit, the ability of rust/scale to hold tyres on to split rims is impressive, after that it was fine.
Got to sort this weird one out, seems someone put an aftermarket starter on a Perkins engine and the lug didn't fit so they put some copper strap on to it, bolted the bits together then wrapped it all in electrical tape and left it against the chassis.

Great weekend of riding for the mental reset I needed, now back to work and the impact is already beginning to wane.

Already pondering what other high country rides might still be possible this fall after missing all summer, but at least I avoided the cart.

Neighborhood block party was fun. Turns out all my neighbors are good people, what are the chances?

Spent yesterday tearing out some invasive plants, and have plenty more to go. I shan't stand for this. Time to die buckthorn, autumn olive, and bittersweet.

Weird wild weekend

Watched the Woodstock 99 documentary, "Trainwreck" on Saturday night. Bed early on Friday. Had one of my best good rides on Saturday afternoon. 28 miles of funfunfun on the mean streets of western eastern mass. Felt fantastic, light, fast...bike was working nice, didn't feel too hot. Just a win all around. Sunday was my daughter's birthday and it was a bit of a clusterfuck, but we made it.

Holy hell everything hurts. I think the tiller is what got me, since I didn't hurt this bad after doing the front yard. But I also didn't move 30 5gal buckets of dirt down stairs, so...

Annual physical this morning. Also 16yr anniversary with Wifey since we started dating. She's a glutton for punishment.

Thanks for the reminder, I've got burning bush to rip out too.

We've got plenty of beautiful maples, elms, oaks and pines that are currently being strangled and outcompeted by the invasive species. Doubt I'll ever rid our property of them, but it doesn't hurt to try.

5 transports and a trip to the office done. time for food and to do a shock treatment of Clorox to the camper water system to kill the evil algae. Then I guess it will be time to go back to work
Do you have light in your camper water system? If not, how can a phototrophic organism grow in there?

October 3rd when we hit it last year and there was a fresh dusting of snow on Grays/Torrey's as we headed up.

Need to get a Kenosha West Jeff in the books as we do that every year.
Canyon Creek is still a possible as it got dropped from this past Saturday's plans for something new instead.
